Malcolm X: Make It Plain (1994 Documentary)

The Complete Malcolm X on DVD:

A 1994 PBS documentary about Malcolm X directed by Orlando Bagwell.

“Who taught you to hate the color of your skin? Who taught you to hate the texture of your hair? Who taught you to hate the shape of your nose and the shape of your lips? Who taught you to hate yourself from the top of your head to the soles of your feet? Who taught you to hate your own kind? Who taught you to hate the race that you belong to so much so that you don’t want to be around each other? You know. Before you come asking Mr. Muhammad does he teach hate, you should ask yourself who taught you to hate being what God made you.”

Malcolm X was a man of integrity and intelligence.  He was killed by the United States government because he was motivating and organizing the African Americans to have ‘pride’ in themselves, their origin and African culture.  The religion of Islam provided the African people with a common tie and a discipline that could have made them a powerful minority if X would have lived.  A fact that was threatening to the previous “Niggah Mastah’s” of the government.

He practiced what he preached and preached what he practiced.  It is to bad that in this country that is not a quality which is praised but despised because he would not bend to the demands of the white man.

I find it interesting that many people nowadays act horrified at the thought of racial segregation or racism.  Many of these people are ‘good christians’.  But, weren’t many of the Ku Klux Klan members ‘good christian’s’ too?  What kind of example does this set for people of other religions?  The christian religion claims we are all g-ds children yet has spent the majority of its lifetime persecuting all other ‘pagan’ religions.

A suggestion to people reading this who may be offended at these blunt comments directed at christianity.  Go, read the history of how the christian religion was brought together.  An example, christian holidays such as Christmas, Valentines and Easter are all founded on pagan customs.  So who is the real pagan?  And what is the true goal of the spread of christianity?
